ORDINANCES

BAPTISM

A symbolic act of cleansing practiced among believers of Jesus Christ by immersion in a pool or body of water. It is commanded of Jesus Christ that you must be baptized, born again of water and of the Spirit. It is an outward expression of our inner change. Like as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in the newness of life. (St. John 3:5-8 Romans 6:1-4)
WATER APART FROM PERSONAL COMMITMENT TO CHRIST MAKES NO DIFFERENCE IN THE LIFE OF ANYONE

THE LORD'S SUPPER

I'Also known as Holy Communion is an ordinance instituted by Christ Himself, to be observed by all believers in remembrance of Him. Symbolically represented, bread and wine is received as the literal body and blood of Christ. Every third Sunday is dedicated to this ordinance. Each member is asked according to the scripture, to discern the Lord’s body, to examine his or her life, and pray that he or she is worthy to partake. At the free will of that individual he or she may partake, no one is refused. (St. Luke 22:14-20 1Corinthians 11:23-30)
